We offer a variety of courses in our workshop to help you get to grips with your bike, from novice to professional level.

Course 1: Roadside/Trailside repair
This class is for beginners. It covers:
Pre-ride check/safety check
Know your bike
Cleaning and lubricating
What spares and tools to carry with you
Wheel and tyre removal, tube replacement and repair
Introduction to brakes & gears
Tubeless repair options
Duration: 4 hours (9.30am - 1.30pm)

Course 2: Home Mechanic Course
The basics of bike maintenance on provided bikes.
Safety and tool use
Lubricants
Drive train
Headsets
Saddles and bars
Wheel truing
Gear adjustment
Brake adjustment and pad replacement
Cable replacement
Duration: 2 days (10am - 4pm)

Course 3: Introduction to your e-bike
A course aimed at people who have bought an e-bike, or are considering buying one, who would like to learn more about looking after their investment.
How to use manufacturers apps to customise and manage their bike.
Understanding batteries, range and how to maximise it.
Duration: 90 minutes
Cost: £80 -
Bespoke courses
One-to-one on your own bike with one of our instructors, tailored to your requirements. Learn the basic maintenance procedures for your bike. We've got the skills and our friendly team are ready and willing to teach you to become a self reliant bike user.
Cost: £50 per hour
* We reserve the right to postpone or refund in the event that we don't have a minimum of 2 participants on these courses.

We have bikes in need of rescue, and we have kids who need bikes. So all we need are bike heroes to get them up and running again!
Through our COGS sessions, we have opportunities for volunteers prepared to take on a challenge and learn bike mechanics. We train you starting with the basics so you don’t need lots of mechanical know-how, super-powers or a cape. So why not get in touch to find out more.
