Bike Maintenance classes

We offer short 'Micro Workshops' and 2 hour Maintenance Courses to help you get to grips with your bike.

Level 1: Bike check and Dealing with Punctures

This class is for beginners. It covers:

  • How to give your bike a basic safety check - find things need fixing or attention
  • How to fix a puncture, take a wheel off (and put it back on!) and change an inner tube.
  • Get you home tips and tricks.

Level 2: Brakes and gears

  • How to check and adjust your brakes
  • How to change brake pads
  • How to tune your gears

Level 3: In Depth - Gears

An entire session devoted to the art of gear adjustment and replacement.

An entire session devoted to the art of brake adjustment and replacement.

Places are limited at each class, so booking and payment is required. Pick a class from the list below to book.

Micro Workshops are a 1 hour demonstration with Q&A.  (No need to bring your bike.)

Maintenance Classes are 2 hours long.  You will need to bring your own bike to work on, as this is a very practical class.

All Classes are aimed at adults; children aged 12+ are welcome but must be accompanied by a paying adult.
