Meet the Team

Stephen - Senior technician

Stephen knows so much about bikes. He loves restoring bikes and helping to keep people pedalling and making improvements to their bike; be it an old faithful or a high end Road bike. He has an inimitable knowledge of bikes and where to source parts and his advice has been well received by many customers and colleagues. Added to that he is extremely creative and has built the shop fittings and workshop stations for our shops.

Lukas - Bike Technician

Lukas is another avid cyclist and experienced bike mechanic. He loves working in the hub with our team. If you cant find that small spanner, it could be hidden in his beard or on his workstation! Lukas is also a freelance cameraman making corporate videos, meaning that Bespoke Biking benefits from his other skills too.

Tom - Front of House

Tom is a local Winchester boy who grew up in the City and attended Westgate and Peter Symonds. Tom came to work with us following a spell working at a funeral director’s - yes really! He is now the one to go to find out what is in the workshop, what work can be done and by when. He loves helping all sorts of people as well as loving riding from home in Chandlers Ford into the shop every day. Tom & Lukas were the brains behind our annual Bikopoly event. Tom is also a qualified Personal Trainer and is ready to provide any hints and tips to improve your fitness.

Andy Key - Technical manager.

Andy is local to Winchester and is very busy around the locality designing and building publicity campaigns and websites. However, one of his greatest loves is cycling. He has a fantastic knowledge of routes around the locality and beyond. He works less in the workshop now but is involved behind the scenes keeping all the technical aspects of Bespoke Biking on track.

Tom Smith (Saturdays)

Tom has worked with Bespoke Biking since he was 14 and in his time has been on the market stall; saw us through our time in the Tourist Information Centre; The Brooks; and, now our new home. Tom is fast on a bike, having claimed at least 1 King of the Mountain on a Strava segment and loves all high end cycling things!

Ella (Saturdays)

Ella began helping us on the market stall and then helped paint The Brooks shop. She stayed with Bespoke Biking and was a founding member of the Romsey Market team. Ella can often be seen racing up and down St Cross Road to either work or college.

Phil Butler (odd days & Romsey Market)

Phil came to us between working at the Eastleigh Pavilion project Cycles 4 all. He loves off-road cycling with his son and creating bikes of character! He too loves the work in Romsey. Volunteers John, Alastair, Mark
